RAFAEL Armament Development Authority Ltd. was founded in 1948 as Israel's National R&D (Research and Development) Defense Center within the Ministry of Defense. Over the years, RAFAEL has developed systems for every branch of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). SEWS - SHIPBORNE EW SUITE

SEWS is a shipborne EW system for both ESM and ECM applications. Featuring high Effective Radiated Power (ERP), SEWS employs advanced power management techniques to provide the winning-edge against any challenge.

TYPHOON - NAVAL STABILIZED GUN SYSTEM

TYPHOON is based on a lightweight, highly accurate, stabilized pedestal that can accommodate a variety of weapons for a wide spectrum of missions. TYPHOON is easily integrated on new or existing platforms and with other on-board systems. TYPHOON may be operated independently, using an on-mount sight, or it can be slaved to an Electro-Optical Detector (EOD) or Fire Control Radar (FCR).

IDS - INTEGRATED DECOY SYSTEM

The Integrated Decoys System is a complete defense suite with a computer, rotatable launchers and real-time programmable decoys. The synergy between these high-tech components ensures ship’s survivability by providing quick, optimized response against all threats.

TOPLITE - MARITIME SURVEILLANCE AND TARGETING SYSTEM

Toplite day / night observation and targeting payload provides the services required for precision guidance for guided weapons, day or night and under adverse weather conditions. TOPLITE enables observation, target detection, recognition and identification by the use of various sensors including FLIR, CCD and laser rangefinder.

LESCUT - REACTIVE EXPENDABLE TORPEDO DECOY

LESCUT is based on the RAFAEL SCUTTER decoy system. a unique, sophisticated reactive expendable torpedo decoy, LESCUT covers the entire frequency band of torpedoes and has very high transmission source levels. LESCUT receives, detects and identifies the torpedo threat and reacts with a tailored or generic response.

DAFCO - ELECTRO-OPTICAL FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR NAVAL GUNS

DAFCO - Detection, Acquisition and Fire COntrol system is an advanced system designed to support 40mm / 57mm / 76mm naval guns. The system combines long-range detection and tracking with accurate fire control capabilities and is highly lethal against surface and air targets.

BARAK – AIR DEFENSE SYSTEM

The BARAK system is a joint product of RAFAEL and Israel Aircraft Industry. BARAK is a naval air defense system specifically designed to counter existing and future anti-ship air threats, including supersonic sea skimming missiles.

PROTECTOR –UNMANNED SURFACE VEHICLE (USV)

The Protector is an integrated naval combat system, based on unmanned, autonomous, remotely controlled surface vehicles. Highly maneuverable and stealthy, the Protector can conduct a wide spectrum of critical missions, without exposing personnel and capital assets to unnecessary risk.
