CENTRIC LCD MARINE DISPLAY RANGE

Our CENTRIC LCD marine displays, specifically designed to withstand the harsh maritime environment, are certified by an independent test-house, and meet these stringent marine and military specifications:

  • IEC 60945 – maritime navigation and radio-communication equipment and systems
  • IEC 61174 – Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS)
  • IEC 60936 – Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA)
  • IEC 60529 – IP-rating 66 and 67
  • IACS E10 – for class approvals, i.e. ABS, DNV and LRS
  • MIL 810-F – environmental
  • MIL 901D – hammer test (applicable to 15in and 19in displays only)

The CENTRIC LCD series consists of the following models:

  • 15in 400cd/m², VGA / SVGA / XGA
  • 19in 250cd/m², VGA / SVGA / XGA / SXGA
  • 21in 250cd/m², VGA / SVGA / XGA / SXGA / UXGA
  • 23in 250cd/m², VGA / SVGA / XGA / SXGA / UXGA

Each CENTRIC LCD marine display has the unique ability to accept either AC or DC supply.

GLASS BRIDGE SERIES DISPLAYS

Nauticomp's LCD display range consists of three product lines: the glass bridge series, the signature series and the infinity series. Our most versatile LCD display, the glass bridge series, offers small mechanical profile and enhanced functionality, including x10 source inputs (x2 RGB, x2 DVI-I, x3 composite, x2 S-video and x1 component), and a unique ability to view any source in PIP. It also supports 'dim to black' and 'dim to red' on both the main screen and PIP.

Glass bridge series LCDs are available in 12in, 15in, 19in and 21in sizes.

SUNLIGHT READABLE MARINE LCD DISPLAYS

Nauticomp's state-of-the-art IP67 sunlight and daylight-readable, fully waterproof marine LCD displays suit a wide spectrum of applications in terms of price, performance and functionality. All our marine LCD displays feature bonded-glass technology whereby the front protection glass is physically bonded to the LCD panel.

SIGNATURE SERIES WATERPROOF MARINE LCD DISPLAYS

Signature series marine LCD displays support DVI, RGB, NTSC and PAL video standards along with PIP, and have a 'dim to red' feature for RGB input. These LCDs are available in 10in, 12in, 15in and 18in sizes.

ECDIS MARINE LCD DISPLAYS

ECDIS approval allows the display to be used in applications where radar and navigation information is displayed. This provides the navigator with a highly accurate, flexible and fully approved alternative to traditional paper charts, which interface and network with ships' sensors and systems, including radar.

INFINITY SERIES MARINE LCD DISPLAYS

Infinity series LCDs provide an entry level ideal for applications requiring single RGB video input, and an optional composite input. They are available in sizes of 10in, 12in and 15in.

RUGGED MARINE COTS COMPUTERS

The NINA COTS marine computers series is a dedicated solution for marine PC-based systems featuring Intel® Pentium and dual-core processors for optimised performance. All internal components are treated with a VCI-III coating for protection. The housing acts as a shock absorber and the small chassis profile can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

NINA COTS computers include:

  • NINA PENX – Intel Pentium D 940 (3.4GHz, 2x2M, 800MHz FSB)
  • NINA PENX PLUS – Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHz, 4M, 1066MHz FSB)

SURFACE SHIP AND SUBMARINE ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Nauticomp are working with customers to achieve environmental requirements – such as defence standards 07-55, 8-123 and 59-41, and MIL-STD 810E and NES 1004 – for surface ships and submarines.

TYPE APPROVALS

Nauticomp will apply to classification societies (ABS, BV, Class NK, DNV, GL, LRS, and others), for type approval where demand justifies.

Our LCD displays are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, marine communications (IEC 60945), ECDIS (IEC 61174) and ARPA (IEC 60945), in full compliance with IACS E10.

In support of our sales, we offer the added value of a global network of experienced dealers to ensure customer satisfaction. Nauticomp has products to meet all your commercial or military applications.
