RUGGED LARGE DISPLAYS

Barco offers a complete series of rugged large format display solutions, ranging from 17in to 28in, with a variety of electronic, optical, environmental and video processing features and options. Flexible designs allow for easy adaptation to most customer requests. Target application platforms include surface ships and submarines.

MODULAR RUGGED FLAT DISPLAYS

Modular rugged flat displays combine a display module with a display control module, connected by a single cable. Thanks to this split design concept, the DCM can be placed in a remote location requiring less space.

RUGGED FLAT DISPLAYS

Barco’s 20.1in rugged flat panel displays have been designed to meet a wide variety of environmental specifications (airborne, shipboard and land-based).

Two levels of ruggedization are available. The FD series has been designed for use in difficult environments, whereas the RFD series has extended environmental specifications to cope with the most extreme environments.

28in SQUARE DISPLAY

The 28in FD 471 presents an ergonomic, lighter-weight solution for operational decision-making and consulting. Its bright output clearly displays detailed information, offering enhanced user comfort and counteracting eye-fatigue.

THIN LIGHTWEIGHT DISPLAYS

The TL-248 is the first display in a brand-new family of thin and lightweight visualization solutions for the Defense and Security community. Combining unparalleled thinness with exceptionally low weight, the TL-248 provides a truly unique, semi-rugged display solution for all applications where space and weight are critical.

RUGGED SMALL DISPLAYS

Based on its long-term experience in image processing for highly demanding applications, Barco has designed a series of ruggedized small format flat panel display solutions, ranging from 7in to 15in, for real-time operational decision making.

RUGGED COMPUTING

The Modular Rugged Display Station (MRDS) is Barco’s latest Display Station family, combining a state of the art Display Processing Module (DPM) with a full range of Rugged Display Modules (RDM) already developed and proven in military applications worldwide.
